The Sammons Preston Hi-Lo Scoop Plate is made for individuals who struggle with guiding food onto utensils. The bowl has a short front wall that measures 1/2″ high and gradually increases to 1-1/2″ in the back. This gives easy access to the food while containing it to prevent messes. It also allows users who struggle with utensils to push food onto the a fork or spoon using the wall. The 3/4″ rim extends outward to catch food and prevent spills.
Assistive eating devices increase the independence of their users. The Hi-Lo Scoop Plate helps elderly, handicapped, and disabled individuals to eat without the aid of a caretaker.
