The annual cost of ALS care is often more than $150,000 [source] per year! Finding the cash to buy assistive devices can be tough for people with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). ALS Canada is a charity aimed at helping people with ALS, and as a part of their extensive services they maintain a pool of equipment that they loan to those living with ALS on a case-by-case basis.
Of course there are some pre-requisites:
- must be diagnosed with ALS Diagnosis
- must be an Ontario Resident
- must be Registered with ALS Canada.
