The ErgoActives Tucane® Ergonomic Cane is a revolutionary product which provides support to areas that traditional canes cannot. Tucane® will move forward with the user’s leg while they advance. It can be adjusted to the user’s exact height, and the Tucane® cap will automatically adjust while walking, simulating the ankle joint. The ErgoActives Tucane® Ergonomic Cane is also able to provide better support for the user’s back due to the correction in posture, something that other canes have not been able to do. The Tucane comes with three height adjustment tubes that allow the user to set the preferred size.

Spring Automatic Impulse – In the handle of the Tucane®, Ergoactives has placed an automatic spring system technology that provides an impulse to the cane, pushing it forward as the user lifts the cane. Just by having the cane close and at the same level of your hip, the user of the Tucane® has the ability to have their back straight while they walk with the cane, and the spring system technology will always be pushing the cane forward. The user only needs to lift the cane for the spring to be activated in order to push the whole cane forward.

Walking Support – With its spring mechanism located on the handle of the Tucane®, this cane system is propelled as the user lifts the cane, providing a feeling that the cane is walking automatically as the user lifts it from the ground.

Vibration Absorption – The grip of the Tucane® absorbs the vibration from the cane’s impact with the ground.

Advanced Design – The Tucane has been designed to mimic a human hip. It is designed by an Orthopedic Surgeon of 30+ years of experience and his team of medical professionals and engineers. The design of the cane represents “a third hip” support for the user. Now, the user feels the support of an extra leg just by placing the Tucane next to the user’s affected hip/limb. The Tucane Lite 8G is made up of Styrene Butadiene Block Copolymer, which is comparable to carbon fiber but even lighter!

One-Size-Fits-All – The new Tucane Lite 8G comes with three adjustment tubes. The user can setup its preferred size of the Tucane (S, M, L) by interchanging the height tubes. The height adjustment is explained in the instructions manual found in the product box.

Another tip is found in the Tucane box, which is the Ergocap Ultralite, which is the same design as the High Performance, only smaller and lighter, which makes the overall cane lighter. Users can choose which rubber tip feels more appropriate for him/her.
Improved posture- Tucane® helps to reduce spinal injuries/ back pain by providing the user with a proper posture by walking upright with the cane.
