Full Description
The Zoom is a light, small, electric all-terrain beach scooter vehicle for recreational use. It has a permanent symmetrical 4-wheel drive designed for use in rough terrain. The patented frame design ensures that all four wheels stay in contact with the ground regardless of the type of surface. This provides continuous 4-wheel drive performance under all conditions.
The Zoom has a maximum speed of 20kph and is suitable for use off-road, where one generally can walk without climbing. If local laws permit use on foot paths, a “walking pace” should be maintained. A helmet is compulsory for safe use. Driving in sand, snow, mud, uphill or footpaths is pure pleasure. You just need to keep clear from salt water and it’s recommended to mount front and back lights when driving in the dark.

Cognitive Abilities
For safe use, users must understand cause + effect (action = result). Independent use requires directional understanding (i.e. moving control in one direction results in matching chair movement), problem solving (i.e. plan + coordinate movements to get from A to B), and judgment (ability to learn that if something is unsafe they should not do it).
Functional Abilities
Users must have adequate vision and be able to use either a joystick, head/tray array, breath control or a combination control. This chair is best for people with upper limb weakness/pain, poor trunk control, limited endurance, cardiopulmonary disease, and obesity. This chair may be unsafe for those with visual deficits and uncontrolled seizures.
Environment
All-Wheel Drive wheelchairs are specifically designed for off-road, outdoor scenarios. They are well suited for un-even terrain and gravel/dirt roads.
Activities
With a 4x4 wheelchair you can go out on hikes and enjoy nature. With an AWD wheelchair you can go outdoors and not have to worry about terrain obstacles.
