The Wheelchair Accessible Merry-Go-Round is designed to ensure high-quality as well as safe accommodation for children of all ability levels on the playground. This fun merry-go-round combines a bright, engaging design and durable construction for long-lasting use with multiple handrails. These handrails allow children to hold on securely and push themselves to set the wheel in motion. Two separate wheelchair accessible positions are secured with swing gates to allow quick and easy access.

Merry-Go-Rounds have been classic playground activities for ages. However, there has never been a model like this one, which allows children with wheelchairs and any other differently-abled children to ride alongside their friends. The wheelchair-accessible Merry-Go-Round must be installed level with your playground surfacing. This allows wheels to roll right on top. Also, up to two wheelchairs can be rolled on top of it, then secured with closing gates. With a total capacity of 10 – 12 kids, you will have plenty of room for other children as well. The underside of the Merry-Go-Round has a speed governor that helps keep the riders safe by limiting the maximum speed.

Choose from several combinations for this structure that ranges from 6 feet to 10 feet in diameter. Offered in a variety of colors, including:

Note: Product must be installed utilizing poured in place rubber safety surfacing or rubber safety tiles. This ensures a flush fit with the merry-go-round deck that allows easy access for wheelchairs.
